Underwater Treadmill 4

My dog Chuma at her second Physical Therapy session after surgery to repair a completely torn ACL ligament. The vet repaired the damage with the use of synthetics, although I haven’t spoken with the vet to get more details. She does well on the underwater treadmill, but if she gets distracted out the side windows, she turns and slows down. The physical therapist in the pool sometimes has to guide her back on track!

Locomotor gait training is widely used in Europe, but is not yet readily available in the United States. Nor is it for everyone: Scientists, physicians, therapists and clinicians are still learning the best way to train and which individuals can benefit the most. Clients of Neuroxcel get the benefit of using this state-of-the-art equipment while continuous research is ongoing to enhance its benefits
